Students learn what life was like on a farm in the 1800’s, the importance of every day chores. Students learn goat milking and get A chance to experience it firsthand! collect eggs, water, and cultivate soil. Along with many other everyday chores.

JOHNNY APPLESEED

Who was the real Johnny Appleseed? Students will learn the history of John Chapman and visit his cabin. We talk about his adventures and Discuss why he was important to the early development of the U.S.

FISHING

Students learn about fish and their importance to the ecosystem. Everyone gets a chance to catch a fish. We clean the fish and pack them in ice for travel. Great opportunity for biology and anatomy sciences.

CALIFORNIA GOLD RUSH

Students learn about the importance of the GOLD RUSH and its impact to California and the United States. Students keep their find.

CELEBRATE HARVEST YEAR ROUND TOUR

Learn about the history of Oak Glen and the apple ranching heritage. Celebrate the importance of harvest time. Taste apple cider. Enjoy lunch at Apple Annie’s.
